Chateau Plombis is the perfect backdrop for any wedding. Holly & Alistair chose the chateau due to it’s intimate feel, stunning grounds and great reception space – the newly converted stables is the perfect place to dine. They had their ceremony in the forest clearing at the back of the chateau, their cocktail reception in the grounds under the towering trees, dinner in the stables and dancing in the orangery. Last time we planned a wedding here, dinner was on the lawn, under a canopy of fairy twinkling lights. This time we installed the fairy lights in the stables, with the addition of soft amber up lighters and green wreaths with fairy lighting on the walls. To add a splash of colour to the tables, were mason jars filled with pale blue hydrangeas and deep purple Dahlias, as chosen by Holly and her Father. The couple worked with this as their main colour scheme, which can be seen in the details – the postcards in frames on the tables and the order of service. This wedding was such a joy to plan and visually stunning on the day. It was our last wedding of 2018 – the perfect end to our season!
